Making TiVo® Podcaster more tolerable
If you own a TiVo®, and you've tried listening to podcasts on it with the Podcaster, you may have found your thumbs quickly getting tired using your remote control to enter podcast feed URLs like this:
http://radio.weblogs.com/0001014/categories/dailySourceCode/rss.xml
That's what this site is for. Find the URL of a feed you want to hear on your TiVo®, copy and paste it into the form above, and you'll get a much shorter URL, something like this:
http://2580.tk/3
Enter that shortened URL into your TiVo® (use the numeric keypad for the numbers), and you're good to go. Your thumbs will thank you!
URLs generated by TinyURL still use letters, which are tedious to enter via the TiVo interface. URLs generated by us consist mostly of numbers because numbers can be entered much more quickly by using the number buttons on the remote control.
